How has September already come and gone?! I have no idea how it flew by so quickly! But I do know, that I couldn’t wait to pull out my plaid, boots, and cozy pieces. Since the weather wasn’t quite cool enough here for fluffy coats and toasty beanies yet, I loved incorporating warm fall tones and experimenting with new trends in my seasonal transition pieces. Today, I’m revisiting my favorite September outfits that you could still take with you into the coming months by easily adding a coat, trading shorts for pants, or switching up the shoe!

First up (and possibly my favorite), these flare jeans from BuddyLove. These are SO flattering and come in such a wide variety of colors/patterns, you could wear a different pair each day of the week, hehe! Hear me out: rust, baby blue, and beige is the next fall trend.

Talk about a spicy “fit”…see what I did there? We asked for autumn pieces and Loft delivered with this sweater and skirt pairing! I’m designating this outfit for pumpkin spice lattes only.

Changing it up on this one with cool colors from Abercrombie’s newest arrivals. Y’all know I had to get in on the “chic schoolgirl” trend happening, and I’m obsessed! Who said edgy and chic couldn’t be combined?

To the pumpkin patch we go! It’s not a basic pumpkin pic without fall florals and camel colored boots. This dress and handbag from Forever 21 are darling for any and all upcoming outings.

These boots were made for sharing! I love a shoe that makes a statement and am not complaining about the comfort either. I adore all of BuddyLove’s fall arrivals but you know I am partial to leopard, especially when it’s incorporated into such a beautiful print and flattering dress.

Before all of the leaves change here, I had to get in a bit more pink. Personally though, I think this deep shade of pink could still be considered as an option for fall totes. Oh and not to forget this cute turtleneck vest that is perfect if you’re looking for a piece to style several ways.

What’s September without college football?! While Shawn gets excited to cheer on his Clemson Tigers, I see it as the perfect excuse for a new outfit, hehe. Back to my BuddyLove obsession with this tiger kimono and perfect leather shorts. The leather trend is one I am absolutely hopping on and can’t wait to style these so many different ways.

And last, but not certainly not least we have my ol’ trusty Spanx leggings that I couldn’t wait another second to pull out! Seriously, one of my best wardrobe investments ever.
