Outfit Recap: What I Wore in Sea Island

There’s something truly magical about Sea Island. Nestled on the coast, it’s a place where southern charm meets coastal elegance. We’ve been to Sea Island quite a bit lately because it’s where our interior designer is located, and we love getting more familiar with the area. Each visit allows us to explore new facets of this beautiful destination, from its pristine beaches to its quaint local shops and gourmet restaurants. From sunrise beach walks to evening soirées, every moment here is an opportunity to showcase effortless style. Here’s a recap of what I wore during our last trip to Sea Island.

Next up is the cutest Fish Print Set from Queen of Sparkles. This vibrant two-piece set is a burst of fun and color, perfect for those sunny Sea Island days. The playful fish print instantly lifts your mood, making it ideal for a day of exploring local shops or lounging by the pool. The set includes a comfy, pullover and matching shorts, both adorned with shimmering sequins that catch the light beautifully. This set is a lively addition to any travel wardrobe, bringing a splash of joy to every outing.

Another standout outfit from my Sea Island trip was this fantastic Patriotic Bikini and Button Down Cover Up. Perfect for a day spent soaking up the sun, this bikini features a stylish star-spangled design that’s both festive and flattering. The vibrant blue and subtle red and white stars capture that classic American summer vibe. Accompanying the bikini is a breezy button-down cover up, ideal for transitioning from beach to boardwalk. The cover up is super versatile – you can wear it open for a relaxed look or button it up for a bit of extra sun protection. Paired with a trucker hat and oversized sunnies, this ensemble is a winner for any coastal celebration.

One of the more unique pieces I brought along was the English Factory Origami Tank. This top is a true statement piece with its intricate folds and delicate details. The crisp white fabric makes it versatile enough to pair with pretty much anything in your wardrobe. I decided to style it with a high waisted skirt for a chic, laid-back look.

I can’t get enough Hunter Bell these days and this Nautical Printed Midi is everything summer should be. The dress captures the essence of sunny days and ocean breezes with its charming nautical print. The lightweight fabric is perfect for staying cool while still looking fabulously put-together. I wore it for a lunch by the marina and felt like I had stepped straight out of an Elin Hilderbrand book.

If you’re looking for the cutest printed romper you’ll want to wear all summer, this one by Emily McCarthy is the answer. It’s the perfect blend of playful and chic, featuring a vibrant print and a flattering silhouette that works for any occasion. The lightweight fabric keeps you cool, making it ideal for everything from beach outings to brunch dates. This romper is definitely a summer staple you’ll reach for time and time again.

Also, don’t sleep on these under $40 sandals. Not only are they stylish and versatile, but they’re also incredibly budget-friendly. These sandals come in a variety of colors and styles, making them the perfect addition to any summer outfit. I’ve been pairing them with everything from dresses to shorts, and they never disappoint. Comfortable enough for all-day wear and chic enough to elevate any look, these sandals are a must-have for your summer wardrobe.

I have to rave about another fabulous piece from Anna Cate – this dress with the beaded collar and pastel print. This dress is pure magic and an absolute delight to wear. The delicate beadwork around the collar adds a touch of sophistication, instantly elevating the whole look. The pastel print is dreamy and perfect for the relaxed, coastal vibes of Sea Island. It’s light, flowy, and oh-so-comfortable, making it ideal for everything from a day out exploring to a romantic dinner by the water. I styled it with a pair of nude wedges and a simple clutch, letting the dress be the star of the show.

One of my absolute favorite outfits from this trip was the stunning Anna Cate Shell Printed Maxi Dress. This dress is everything you could want for a coastal getaway: light, airy, and effortlessly chic. The shell print is a nod to the ocean, and the flowy fabric makes it perfect for a leisurely stroll on the beach or a casual dinner by the water. I paired it with some beaded sandals to complete the look. Trust me, this dress is a showstopper and a must-have for any seaside adventure.

Last but definitely not least, let’s talk about this perfect color block swim and purple cover up combo. This pairing is a match made in heaven for any beach day or poolside hangout. The hot pink swimsuit is not only eye-catching but also super flattering. Pairing it with a flowy, purple cover up creates a striking and stylish contrast that’s both playful and sophisticated. The cover up is lightweight and breezy, perfect for throwing on after a dip or while grabbing a quick snack. I completed the look with some oversized sunglasses and a floppy hat, making this duo an absolute summer showstopper.

Sea Island offered the perfect backdrop for a week of stylish ensembles. Each outfit was chosen with both function and fashion in mind, allowing me to enjoy the beauty and activities of this coastal gem without compromising on style. Whether you’re planning a trip to Sea Island or another coastal destination, I hope this outfit recap provides some inspiration for your own travel wardrobe.
