Easter Weekend Recap + My Favorite Spring Fashion Finds and Derby Ready Looks

I hope you all had the best Easter Sunday! We truly lucked out with the most gorgeous weather. It’s the kind of sunshine that just makes you want to be outside all day, and we took full advantage of it.

Our little crew (Bo, Shawn, and I) kept the weekend sweet and simple. We kicked things off with some beach time—which never gets old if you ask me. We also spent an afternoon out on the boat, soaking in the breeze and the sunshine. Our favorite place to be!

One of my highlights from the weekend was our stroll through Brookgreen Gardens. It honestly felt like walking through a painting. If you’re looking for somewhere to add to your must-visit list, Brookgreen Gardens has my vote, hands down.

And can I just gush for a second? Bo surprised me with the sweetest Easter basket, complete with a handwritten card. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and definitely the most memorable part of my weekend. There’s just something about those little surprises that make holidays with kids so special.

Of course, I can’t wrap up this post without talking spring fashion! This is hands-down my favorite season for clothes. The colors, the prints, the fresh silhouettes—I’m obsessed. I’ve stumbled across so many new favorite pieces lately. If you’re in the mood to refresh your wardrobe, spring is truly the perfect excuse. Check out my LTK for links to all these styles (and more) but also I had the best luck at Monkees of Myrtle Beach for spring styles, my Easter dress is from there and I got so many compliments.

Also the Kentucky derby is right around the corner and I’ve put together some style inspo for the races! Whether you’re all about classic elegance or ready to go bold, there’s something for everyone when it comes to Derby day fashion! Be sure to check my LTK for more Derby style inspo.

Here’s to more sunny weekends and trying every cute dress in sight.
